1984
1st Bn The Royal Green Jackets
C/Sgt Finn began training the Bisley team in March with a squad of twenty. They shot extremely well at the South West District Skill at Arms meeting in May, winning the Major Units Championship at a District meeting for the third consecutive year, five other team matches, and taking four of the top five places in the Individual Rifle Championship which was won by Corporal Frape.
With renewed confidence they then set their sights on the Regular Army Skill at Arms Meeting at Bisley, they performed reasonably well in the team matches.

The Oxfordshire RGJ Battalion ACF
Shooting is in a period of redevelopment and the year has primarily been spent replacing the ‘old and bold’ (yes we have them too). This goes well and we hope to prove it at Bisley ’85. This year Cadet Laker represented the ACF in the Inter-Services Shoot at Bisley and we came third in the individual at CADSAM.
